When has your first impression of someone turned out to be completely wrong?

Every time I guess I was blinded by love/emotions. When I met the woman I eventually married, and waited wayyy too long to divorce. Most recently with another female I gave way too much leeway to before calling it quits. I need to learn to trust my instincts because usually my gut is on point, but sometimes I have let other things blind me from reality. Anyway that is the long and short of it. the moral i would say is be wary of anything that seems too good to be true because it usual is. But I will still take my chances and deal with the fall out if it is in a nice neat little package and goes well with my purple aura. lol
